Method I create mixed-media images-- computage on a variety of surfaces. The term computage reflects the synthesis of the terms computer and collage. I begin with images that I scan into and manipulate on a computer. Next I generate fabric transfers, which I hot-press on paper (including hand-made paper) or fabric. Last I apply soft pastels as background. The oriental stamps are made in Asia to represent my name- Haftka. The calligraphy is my mother's name- Elizabeth Amber (who passed away May 2000), with my initials in Hebrew (standing for my maiden name, Shoshana Amber).
